Creative writing in English with Virginia G. Piper Center
for Creative Writing, ASU, US
Through an agreement with Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative writing, Arizona State University, US, postgraduate students of this institution will teach a two-week course at Home in the month of June, plus a two-Saturday seminar.
The aim of the course is to help people of an intermediate level upwards to expand their creative possibilities in a second/ foreign language (English) by writing fiction. It does not require any previous background in Literature or specific writing techniques.
Storytelling project
In all our courses, from Toddler groups onwards, teens, and adults, general and specific, we´ll use storytelling as a pedagogic tool in different languages. Because, what is nicer than telling and being told a story? We´ll also organise events in different languages, and we´ll reflect on the social transformation power of stories.
