It was by taking as a starting point our principles on how to teach a foreign language that we created Home tailor-made English courses in February 1987. Our aim was to create a space where you and your family could study languages by feeling like home, in a place where you could find the course specifically designed for you, based on your specific learning needs.
Today our proposal expands to new languages (Spanish) and new media (it adds our virtual school), but we are still guided by the same main aim: to find the course truly for you, a flexible route for learning languages the way you need to learn them.

Why are our courses tailor-made? What does that mean?

Our courses are not traditional courses but “tailor-made courses”.
Our starting point is to study your needs in detail and subsequently design the courses that are best for you.
This personalization is possible through individualization techniques, together with the possibility of combining courses of different content and/or intensity, group classes (in groups of up to 9 participants), individual tutorials or a combination of both; virtual and face2face courses and blended learning; courses in the classroom and immersion events, and extra services such as our Self-access centre, pronunciation tutorials, our Speaking and writing centre.
